TIME: 1 Hours classroom, 1 hour range
PREREQUISITES: None

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 2-hour hands-on course is designed for new students that want to build a solid foundation with an emphasis on marksmanship. We begin in the classroom with a thorough review of the rules of safe gun handling and cover common handgun actions and trigger types.

Before training shifts to the range for live fire, all students will be coached with training tools on the fundamentals including:
Grip
Stance
Sight Alignment
Sight Picture
Trigger Control
Follow-Through

Class registration includes range fees and targets.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

• Fully-functioning modern, semi-automatic handgun
• 1 magazine
• 50 rounds of quality, factory ammunition
• Appropriate clothing (baseball cap, pants, closed-toe shoes required)
• Rental guns and ammunition are available for a fee.
